"Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart".
His providence can unite hearts in bonds that are of heavenly origin. Love will not be a mere exchange of soft and flattering words. The loom of heaven weaves with warp and woof finer, yet more firm, than can be woven by the looms of earth. The result is not a tissue fabric, but a texture that will bear wear and test and trial. Heart will be bound to heart in the golden bonds of a love that is enduring. {AH 112.4}
During our courtship, we would claim the promise of Psalms 37:4 in every one of our prayers during our evening worship. God had always told us to wait for His perfect timing, and so wait we would patiently. We took heed of the counsel "Make haste slowly" until the day God gave us the green light.
My lips cannot cease to praise God for granting me the desire of my heart so early in my life. This precious gift of love only exists in our hearts for each other because we understand that we only love, because He who gave us this gift, first loved us.
Our ceremony will be held at Glasshouse at Seputeh, with a lunch reception to follow. Glasshouse has a beautiful, natural indoor garden with natural sunlight.
While personal gifts of household items or sentimental pieces are greatly appreciated, we are currently saving for our future home and we would greatly welcome monetary gifts; it will hopefully save you time and hassle in shopping, as well as help us reach our goal more quickly.
PS; in general, we do not wear jewelry or consume alcohol at all, so these gifts, although common and greatly loved by other couples, will not be valuable to us :)
